Access Requirements
- A valid Bike Park lift ticket or season pass is required to use the River Lot.
Vehicle Restrictions
- Maximum combined vehicle length: 40 feet
- Limited turnaround space available

- Tents or camping equipment
- Alcohol consumption
- River access
- Overnight parking
Important Guidelines
- Pack it in, pack it out – no trash receptacles on site
- Open to oversized vehicles through October 10, 2025
- Pets must be on leash
Free Parking
Loon is an easy drive from Boston and many other popular areas.
Parking is free and open to day guests. Parking lots do fill up, especially on weekends, holidays, event days, and powder days, so plan ahead.
If you're traveling in an electric vehicle, 13 EV charging stations are available.
Respect the rules of the parking lots:
No tents, No open flames, No alcohol, No overnight parking.

Hartford: 3.5 hrs.
Montreal: 3 hrs.
New York City: 5.5 hrs.
Ottawa: 5 hrs.
Providence: 3 hrs.

Manchester, NH (MHT): 1.5 hrs.

- Winter: No oversized vehicles. Your vehicle must be under 8 feet wide x 21.3 feet long to properly fit in a parking spot.
The EV charging stations will not be available for use during the NH Highland Games & Festival September 19-21.

Local Lodging Shuttle
Leave your car. During the winter, many local lodging properties contract with Loon to provide shuttle services for guests of their property to Loon during the service dates listed below.
Service Dates: Weekends & Holidays*: December 14 – March 30.
*No Shuttle Service: Feb 17 – 21 (Presidents Week)
Morning: 7:30–11:30am; Afternoon: 12:30–5:00pm

Base Area Shuttles
Get around the base area. Free shuttles are available to any open base area during the hours listed below: Octagon Lodge, Governor Adams Lodge, South Peak or Escape Route.
- Weekends & Holidays: Morning: 7:30–11:30am; Afternoon: 12:30–5:00pm
- Monday–Friday: Morning: 8:30–11:30am; Afternoon: 12:30–4:30pm
Plug It In
Thirteen Level 2 charging stations are available at Loon.
Find them at the Beach Lot (10) and Children's Center Lot (3). Stations are managed by the SWTCH platform and require a fee.
